George Harriman

Commercial Solicitor

George joined the Access Law Group team in October 2015 through the progressive legal internship program provided to UOW students.

George is now one of our Commercial Solicitors and works in the Commercial Law Group.

In his spare time, he enjoys an active life out of work especially spear fishing and golf.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Laws 2017
  • Bachelor of Commerce (Management major) 2017

Admission to Practice

George completed his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the University of Wollongong and was admitted as a solicitor of the NSW Supreme Court in September 2017.

Experience

George currently works in the Commercial Law Group and provides services in the following areas:

  • Commercial and Residential property transactions.
  • Advice with respect to the establishment and operation of trust structures.
  • Preparation of shareholder and partnership agreements.
  • Self-Managed Superannuation Fund transactions and compliance issues.

He has also worked in the Dispute Resolution and Conveyancing Teams during his time at Access Law Group.

Growing up in Griffith, George has worked in a whole range of industries from managing his family’s orange farm to the sale and marketing of wine.

Community Involvement

George is a member of the Zig Zag Hub in Wollongong which is a network of start-up companies working in the same space. He is passionate about business and the Zig Zag Hub is ideal to refine his understanding of the issues which confront start up and small businesses.
