Michael Dyson

Consultant - Specialist Accredited in Property Law

Michael Dyson is one of the founders of Access Law Group. He is now a consultant and leads our Client Services Team.

Michael is an Accredited Specialist in Property Law having acquired that qualification in 1994. He has maintained this specialist accreditation since that time.

  • Diploma of Law (SAB) 1959
  • Accredited Specialist in Property Law 1994

Supreme Court of NSW and High Court of Australia

Experience

Michael covers general commercial matters including:

  • Conveyancing – buying and selling of real estate
  • Mortgages and loan documents
  • Leases
  • Wills
  • Estates

Michael also has substantial experience in:

  • General commercial areas.
  • Partnership disputes, company disputes, nuisance cases, possessory titles cases, natural justice cases and Court Appeal matters.
  • Litigation in all Courts and in particular the Local Court and District Court.

He is a former President of the Wollongong & District Law Society and has held appointments as a Supreme Court evaluator and an arbitrator in the Local and District Courts.

Michael was Chairman of the Conveyancing Committee of the Wollongong & District Law Society for a number of years.

Michael is a member of the Law Society of NSW. He was also the legal representative on the Human Ethics Committee of the Wollongong University from 1990 until 2000.
